Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reiterated India's capability to be a global force multiplier.

Addressing a seminar on ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ in defence manufacturing, Modi said his government has ushered in a “win-win” situation for all players, from public sector to private and foreign manufacturers, and asserted that the concept of a self-reliant India is not “inward-looking”.

PM Modi’s address at 74th Independence Day was for almost 90 minutes. Focus on self-reliant India, economy and warning to those who attempted to challenge India’s sovereignty. “Coronavirus can be a hindrance but can’t beat India’s resolve for Atmanirbhar Bharat,” he said.
