India's trajectory of active cases continued to follow a steadily dipping path on Sunday with the active caseload dropping to 3,05,344. This has been made possible by the trend of recoveries exceeding new cases and low number of fatalities per day which have ensured a total net reduction of the active caseload.

India's total cases rise to 98,84,100, with 336 new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. The updated health ministry data further shows the country's active cases at 3,52,586.

India's Covid-19 fightback is improving steadily as the active caseload dropped to 3,59,819 on Saturday. The dip in active cases comes with trend of recoveries exceeding new cases and low number of fatalities per day. 

 West Bengal on Wednesday (December 2) reported a drop in its total of active Covid-19 cases for the 37th consecutive day since the end of Durga Puja as the state logged 3,275 recoveries, 3,271 infections, and 51 deaths. The tally went up to 4,90,070 after 3,271 fresh cases of infection were reported from various parts of the state.

India's Covid-19 tally rises to 94,62,810 lakh with 31,118 new cases, while the number of recoveries surged to 88,89,585, according to the latest health ministry data on Tuesday. The death toll climbed to 1,37,621.

1,849 more people were diagnosed with COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, and 1,800 people recovered from the infection. Bengaluru Urban reported 1,048 new cases.

The COVID-19 positivity rate recorded in the last 24 hours, as on Wednesday, was noted to be 1.84 percent as per the statistics issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services.
