IAF's Rafale fleet to have first woman fighter pilot soon
A woman fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force will soon join the Golden Arrows squadron operating the newly-inducted Rafale fighter jets. The woman pilot is undergoing training to fly Rafale aircraft, reports said. She has been flying MiG-21 fighters and was selected for the Rafale fleet following an internal process, reports added.

The distance covered by them is close to 7,000 kms, and will require air-to-air refueling. The aircraft will be inducted at Air Force Station Ambala on July 29, subject to weather and the final induction ceremony will take place in the second half of August.
