The Mumbai Police has arrested a sub-engineer and two of his aides for allegedly collecting Rs 4000 from passengers arriving at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport for evading mandatory institutional quarantine.

The CBI today (November 28) raided 30 locations in West Bengal in connection with a coal smuggling racket, allegedly led by in Asansol based kingpin named Anup Majhi.
 

Central Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested two more persons who were allegedly running a betting racket on the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches. The arrests were made on Friday late night.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday (November 6) arrested the suspected kingpin of a cattle smuggling racket in connection with an ongoing probe.

 During the search, cash of Rs 2.37 crore and jewellery worth Rs 2.89 crore has been found along with 17 bank lockers, which are yet to be operated.

Sex racket has been busted in West Bengal's Murshidabad disrict. According to sources, a mother and her son used to run a sex racket in Bahadurpur area under Lalgola police station. The locals were upset about what was happening in the area. Therefore, they handed over four people to the police.

Republic TV's CFO has been called for questioning on Saturday in connection with the Television Rating Points (TRP) manipulation racket. A local court in Mumbai on Friday has sent four people accused in the TRP scam to police custody till October 13.

Two people from Gujarat were arrested in the Bengaluru for allegedly operating an illegal money transfer racket on Thursday. The police have seized Rs 4.5 lakh cash and two mobile phones from them.

Detectives of the Special Task Force of the state police busted a fake non-judicial stamp paper racket in Kolkata on October 6. Several thousand court fee stamps along with fake non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs 25 lakh were recovered after the state STF detectives arrested two people in the Amherst Street Police station area.
