    Soumitra Chatterjee still on ventilation support; renal replacement therapy started

    The health condition of veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee worsened further on Tuesday (October 27). Efforts were being made to boost his blood platelet count. The actor has been in critical condition since Monday (October 26). Doctors said that both of his kidneys were no longer working. The actor is still in ventilation support.
