Former Broadcast Audience Research Council CEO Partho Dasgupta was arrested on December 24 last year in connection with the alleged TRP fraud case.

Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami has announced that he is going to declare his personal financial details and hand it over to the CBI, the ED and, "should the Mumbai Police be interested, to them as well".

Dasgupta was arrested by the Mumbai Police on December 24 for his alleged involvement in the TRP Scam.

Revelations emerging from the leaked WhatsApp conversations between former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta and Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami continue to send shockwaves.

Now Samrajni Dasgupta, the wife of the ex-BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta has written a scathing complaint to the NHRC regarding the conduct of the Mumbai Police.
 

The News Broadcasters Federation has asked the Broadcast Audience Research Council to release the audience measurement ratings in the news genre. In a statement, the NBF also requested the rating agency to take corrective measures for future data. 

The Mumbai Police has submitted a remand note in a magistrate's court in Mumbai in connection with the fake Television Rating Points scam case in which it accused Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami of paying off senior officials of TV rating agency BARC, including its former CEO Partho Dasgupta, to manipulate the channel's TRP.
