Rahul Dravid is considered one of the legendary cricketers in Indian cricket. Famously known as The Wall, he gave the bowlers a tough time, owing to his robust defensive techniques. He retired from the sport in 2012 and his since been coaching at the National Cricket Academy.

Rohit Sharma is currently nursing a hamstring strain, he suffered during the just-concluded Indian Premier League. He is currently undergoing his fitness assessment at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, as he looks ahead to the Australia tour.

Ishant Sharma, one of India’s most experienced pacers is all likely to play the first test for India on December 17. However, a final decision by National Cricket Academy (NCA) is yet to come, as they are still to choose the players for different formats who will play in the series.
