Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, has grown taller by 0.86 metre.
 

Bengaluru: India coach Ravi Shastri has hailed MS Dhoni as a “true badshah” and as a leader and captain he sits on Mount Everest. Shastri heaped praise on Dhoni, who retired from international cricket on Saturday (August 15).

In yet another instance of lower air pollution levels leading to some stunning views of the Himalayas, residents of Kathmandu Valley in Nepal woke up to a glimpse of the Mount Everest last week. 

The lockdown and reduction in pollution level has reportedly ended up providing a beautiful view of Mount Everest from Bihar's village, a women panchayat member has claimed. Her photo capturing the view is now going viral on social media.

It is unfortunate that women are not allowed to climb the peak when the state is ruled by a government led by Left parties.

A total of 456 people, including more than 250 foreigners, reached the top of the Everest during the recently-ended spring season
