This was Mumbai Indians' sixth win of the tournament this season in eight matches, as the rise back to the top spot of the table. As for Kolkata Knight Riders, this was their fourth loss of the season in the same number of matches as MI, while they stay in the fourth spot.

Match 32 will see a clash of the top performers of the season. Mumbai Indians (MI), who stand at the second position, and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who stand at the fourth, will clash with each other in Abu Dhabi.

Mumbai Indians have won 13 out of the 18 matches against Kolkata Knight Riders.
