Namma Metro to reduce frequency of trains from October 22
As the number of metro users increase, the Bengaluru metro has decided to reduce the frequency of metro trains from Thursday, October 22. The decision has been made after analysing the travel pattern of commuters and to follow the social distance norms.

Bengaluru Namma Metro services are back on track with all the COVID-19 safety measures. The first set of metro trains started from Baiyappanahalli to Mysore road metro station at 9 am on September 7.

Unlock 4.0 guidelines: Metro trains, political gatherings allowed; schools, colleges remain closed
Unlock 4 will come into effect from September 1 and will continue till September 30. The unlock process had begun on June 1 with the graded reopening of commercial, social, religious and other activities.
