The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia witnessed massive rainfall that has left one person dead and dozens missing. According to Saudi Directorate of Civil Defense (SDCD) at least 10 were injured after floods hit country’s Asir region on Wednesday.

The rescue forces are now looking for several people missing in the floods. Several of the missing are said to be commuters in vehicles.

The flooding caused road closures while cars were left trapped and submerged in the streets. A tunnel in the city of Khamis Mushayt was completely flooded and left 4 people trapped in their vehicle.
