The next edition of the ICC World T20 is scheduled to be held in India, in 2021. The latest edition was supposed to be held this year in Australia but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. India hosted the previous edition in 2016, which was won by the Windies.

BCCI ropes in MPL for the Indian team kit sponsorship. Before this, Nike had the sponsorship contract, which ended in September this year. This would be the first time that MPL would be associated with Team India, as they are already the sponsors of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

BCCI announces India’s squad ahead of the India-Australia series scheduled in November. The players will be travelling to Sydney immediately after the IPL season.
