We have always known Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy of being vocal when he sees any discrepancies in the way his former company functions. He did it with Vishal Sikka and Rajiv Bansal and now he has voiced his reservations against the salary hike given to COO Pravin Rao

It's good news for Infosys as Narayan Murthy reportedly said the battle against the board has been called off, but concerns over governance remain. Murthy and other founders who have 13 percent stake in the company have all reasons to demand their rights, but why make it feel like a misplaced concern for 'values'. 

Looks like culture clashes have moved from living rooms to boardrooms. What can arguably be called another such incident comes in the wake of the friction between Infosys founders and the board. 

While reams have been written down about how the H-1B visa crackdown will affect Indian IT firms and students, Infosys co-founder N R Narayana Murthy believes Indian software companies need to stop sending people on H-1B visas.
