Aarti Tikoo Singh: There is no way Article 370 and 35A will be restored
In an exclusive interview with Asianet Newsable's Sunita Iyer, Kashmir-based journalist Aarti Tikoo Singh, slams the Gupkar Alliance President Farooq Abdullah for claiming he won't die till Article 370 is restored in Jammu and Kashmir. She adds, "Article 370 or no 370, 35A or no 35A, the truth today is that equality, which is enshrined in the Indian constitution, has been extended to Jammu and Kashmir and people of India when it comes to the state."
The Foreign & Strategic Affairs editor of IANS also lambasts Pakistan for inaction over cross-border terrorism and instead projecting India as an oppressor of human rights world over, even as violations continue in the 'military-Islamic state'.
Aarti Tikoo Singh also shares her views on how the current Modi government dealt with separatist voices in Kashmir and what does the future hold for Kashmiri Pandits in the state.

World Refugee Day – Nepal must be wary of aggressive neighbour China: Tsewang Gyalpo Arya
Tibet is an issue of an occupied country, of human rights and religious freedom. It is unfortunate that India could not help when China invaded Tibet. It looks like China appeasement policy ruled the atmosphere then. This is how India lost its good and peaceful neighbour and how the Chinese army are now at the Indian border. These days the world is experiencing lockdown because of the Coronavirus pandemic, but Tibet has been under draconian lockdown since the 2008 Olympics. Although Tibet is physically under Chinese occupation, the faith and loyalty of the Tibetan people is with His Holiness the Dalai Lama and India. International community must work together to bring the dictatorial and tyrannical regime down and replace it with a more democratic and responsible government. - Tsewang Gyalpo Arya
