Central Crime Branch has raided the house of Aditya Alva regarding the ongoing drug scandal. Aditya's house in Hebbal was raided on Tuesday morning, September 15.

After shelving the controversial steel bridge project that involved axing of 1,800 trees between Basaveshwara Circle to Hebbal in Bengaluru, now the Karnataka government has sent a proposal to the tree expert committee for inspection, as it has identified 3,559 trees in Bengaluru and its surroundings for road widening and metro projects.

A rowdy wanted in several cases of attack and public nuisance cases in RT Nagar and Hebbal Police limits was shot by police after he attacked two policemen. Rowdy Mardan Khan of Chamundinagar in RT Nagar area has teased a woman and when nearby police questioned him, he attacked and fled. In an attempt to nab him, when police traced him, he attacked them too. To overpower Khan and his associate, the police fired at him.

The Enforcement Directorate had also questioned DK Shivakumar's daughter Aishwarya and Belagavi Rural MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar in connection with a money laundering case.

The Karnataka high court was hearing a plea by Namma Bengaluru Foundation (NBF) which stated that the sanction for the steel flyover between Hebbal and Chalukya Circle had not been granted through mandatory procedures

Hebbal police nabbed three culprits involved in chain-snatching, cheating and daylight robbery on Monday and recovered 175 grams of gold worth Rs 9.5 lakhs and four two-wheelers. With this arrest, the police have solved 10 cases.

The 7-km stretch of steel bridge is estimated to cost Rs 2000 crore at a loss of 2000 trees and is aimed towards the connection of Hebbal and Chalukya Circle in Bengaluru.

Satish Jarkiholi's supporter, Asif Hussain Mulla was attacked by Lakshmi Hebbalkar's supporter Tousif with a machete in Belagavi, Karnataka.

 It's a fight between BJP's scholar YA Narayanswamy and Congress candidate real estate giant Byrathi Suresh who is said to be a close aide of CM Siddaramaiah.
