Watch: Tree uprooted during Cyclone Nivar falls on senior citizen
Cyclone Nivar made landfall near the coastal town of Marakkanam in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. The cyclone brought with it heavy rain and gusts of wind. One life was lost when a tree fell on a 50-year-old man in Triplicane area of Chennai. CCTV footage captured the moment when the senior citizen was trapped under the tree while he was returning from a tea shop nearby. Watch the video.
