In an exclusive interview with Asianet Newsable's Sunita Iyer, Kashmir-based journalist Aarti Tikoo Singh, slams the Gupkar Alliance President Farooq Abdullah for claiming he won't die till Article 370 is restored in Jammu and Kashmir. She adds, "Article 370 or no 370, 35A or no 35A, the truth today is that equality, which is enshrined in the Indian constitution, has been extended to Jammu and Kashmir and people of India when it comes to the state."

The Foreign & Strategic Affairs editor of IANS also lambasts Pakistan for inaction over cross-border terrorism and instead projecting India as an oppressor of human rights world over, even as violations continue in the 'military-Islamic state'.

Rajnath Singh posts on Twitter: "Pakistan has illegally occupied Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan is going to make it a province now. Our government has clarified that Gilgit-Baltistan along with entire PoK is an integral part of India."
