Dubbak By Election  

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali is confident of winning 100 seats and above in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.  Ali, however, admits that party lost the recent bye-elections in the state because of overconfidence and that the BJP's confidence is much higher after Dubbak by-elections win. 

"So far in the GHMC elections, the BJP is ahead in shouting while Congress has become lifeless," he said while heaping praise on Minister KT Rama Rao who has taken upon himself to ensure TRS captures GHMC polls. Watch the video

A political controversy has erupted in Telangana after police conducted raids on the houses of relatives of M Raghunandan Rao, who is the BJP candidate from Dubbak bypoll constituency.
