KPCC president DK Shivakumar to be arrested by CBI?
Going by developments, it appears that CBI may arrest KPCC president DK Shivakumar. Earlier Shivakumar filed a writ petition before high court anticipating CBI raids.
The timing of the raid stands questionable as DK Shivakumar and his brother DK Suresh were planning for RR Nagar by-election on November 3. The brothers had called BBMP corporators from RR Nagar to their home.
Now it appears as though DK Shivakumar may be arrested. The police has already deployed personnel at CBI, Bengaluru branch in RT Nagar.

CBI concludes raid at DK Shivakumar's mother's house
DK Shivakumar's mother Gowramma slammed the CBI and government for targeting his son and his brother DK Suresh. She sarcastically criticised the government by saying they “love” his son DK Shivakumar and hence are doing this.
The officials had travelled to Dodda Alahalli village in Kanakapura early this morning. She says she is even ready to sit with her son in custody if the government provides her food.

Raids by the CBI at KPCC president DK Shivakumar’s properties has taken a political turn as working president Satish Jarkiholi accused the Central government of causing this.
He says the raid is an attempt to disturb the party which is preparing for by-election to the prestigious RR Nagar Assembly.
