A glass of Cauvery water bridges the differences between Karnataka and Tamil NaduCauvery Management Board: In a brilliant display of humanity, several groups of people in Bengaluru from different age groups and classes shared glasses of water with their friends, acquaintances, neighbours, and strangers. This was in response to an initiative proposed by Kollywood actor Simbu to not let politicians create a divide between Kannadigas and Tamilians over Cauvery water. He urged people from Karnataka to share a glass of water with their Tamilian friends and show that water can be shared between the two without animosity.
