Cattle Smuggling  

The sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided 10 places in Kolkata in connection with a cattle smuggling case. CBI has 5 more teams in Kolkata.
 

The CBI on Thursday (December 31) raided TMC leader Vinay Mishra’s house in connection with a cattle smuggling case along the India-Bangladesh border.
 

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday (November 6) arrested the suspected kingpin of a cattle smuggling racket in connection with an ongoing probe.

The actor along with friends were in Mudigere for location hunting on Sunday night (September 12) when they spotted cattle being smuggled 

Assam Police arrested 34 persons involved in cattle smuggling from different parts and rescued 247 animals on Wednesday

The activists allege that the animals are tied up and packed into trucks in such that they cannot move or make any sounds. They are then shipped in the thousands across the border
