Mayor Gangambike Mallikarjun who will end her one-year tenure on September 27 has set a bad precedent by encroaching upon a footpath and drain to build a toilet on the busy Byrasandra road. When asked for her clarification, she justified saying if footpaths are big, it can be taken over to build projects.
