Bengaluru Metro service to start at 7 AM on Sundays from January 13
Many passengers boarding the Bengaluru Metro from Majestic and Yeshwantpur wanted BMRCL to start metro train service at 5 AM on Sundays. But BMRCL has agreed to start the first metro at 7 AM instead of 8 AM on Sundays

BMRCL to open separate gates for safety of pregnant women
The use of regular entry points in the Metro stations leave pregnant women prone to be hit as the gates would shut abruptly, claim a lot of women passengers. The BMRCL will allow pregnant women to use the service entry and exit points to ensure their safety.

Bengaluru: Second metro train with six bogeys opened for public use from today
In the first phase Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) had handed over three-bogeys to Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) on February 14. After conducting various tests and trials, the first 6-bogey metro train was inaugurated for public use on June 22.
