West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday (January 13) said that cows graze in the land allotted for the Silicon Valley project. He claimed that the state government did not do anything for the development of the project.
 

With four-five months to go for assembly polls in West Bengal, the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters. The farmers from whose house BJP chief JP Nadda had collected rice during his visit to Burdwan on Saturday (January 9), has appeared at the TMC office on Sunday (January 10). Trinamool claims that those 5 farmers are members of their party.

In a move that is being viewed as an act of vendetta by the opposition in Maharashtra, the state government has slashed the security cover of Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis and other BJP leaders. Among those whose security cover has been totally removed include BJP leaders like state BJP chief Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Ram Kadam and Narayan Rane.

West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday (December 23) said that the Trinamool Congress is a more dangerous virus than COVID-19. 

While addressing a public meeting on Wednesday (December 16), West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh said that the law and order situation of the state has become worse than Kashmir.

BJP chief JP Nadda Nadda slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. During a rally in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee said, "BJP has no work to do.  Sometime, Home Minister is here, sometimes Chaddha, Nadda, Fadda, Bhaddha is here. When they have no audience, they call their workers for doing drama.” Making an attack on Banerjee’s statement, JP Nadda said, “The language of Mamata's mouth shows her mentality.”

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda on Thursday (December 10) flayed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the attack on his convoy and said Bengal is suffering from lawlessness, anarchy, intolerance.
 

BJP national general secretary and the party's Bengal incharge Kailash Vijayvargiya was vandalised by miscreants while he was on the way to Diamond Harbour to attend a public meeting with visiting BJP chief JP Nadda.

A suo moto case was registered at the New Jalpaiguri police station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police against BJP national general secretary and state observer Kailash Vijayvargiya, MP and BJP Yuva Morcha president Tejasvi Surya, state BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on the allegation that they encouraged violence during the party's "Uttarkanya Abhiyan" march in Siliguri on December 7.

West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday (November 18) said Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party national president J P Nadda will visit the state every month till the end of assembly elections. 

An arrest warrant has been issued against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president in West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh, in a one-year-old case by the Burdwan Court. At a public meeting on November 4 last year, Dilip Ghosh had lashed out at the police and said that the entire department was rotten in corruption. Following this controversial remark, a police officer in Burdwan had lodged a complaint against Ghosh. The official had claimed that the statement of the BJP chief had hurt the image of police.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday (November 13) appointed Kailash Vijayvargiya as in-charge of West Bengal. Arvind Menon and Amit Malviya have been appointed as sah-prabharis of West Bengal. The appointments were made by BJP chief JP Nadda.
 

On Thursday (November 12), West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh’s convoy was attacked in the Jaigaon area of the Alipurduar district. Scores of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) supporters gathered by the roadside chanting “Go back Dilip Ghosh” slogans. The protesters waved black flags at Ghosh. Three vehicles of the convoy including that of Dilip Ghosh were damaged in stone-pelting.
 

As per trends available till 4 pm, the NDA was leading in 128 seats -- the BJP in 75, the JD(U) in 48 and the VIP in five.

Addressing a media conference, Jharkhand BJP chief Deepak Prakash said: "governments will come and go. I will remain firm on my stand."
