BJP workers stage protest over 'political killings' in West Bengal
BJP workers on Monday (November 2) staged a protest outside several police stations across West Bengal, seeking justice for party activists who, they claimed, were murdered by miscreants backed by the ruling Trinamool party. Top leaders of the BJP have alleged that more than 100 party workers have been killed by goons backed by the ruling Trinamool Congress. The TMC, however, has rubbished the allegations.

West Bengal: BJP worker’s death triggers protests in Medinipur
A BJP worker was killed in West Midnapore. The BJP has started protesting, claiming that it was a premeditated murder as there were signs of injuries on the body of the deceased. Police were prevented from taking the body of the BJP worker. BJP activists blocked the road in protest. They alleged that the miscreants of Trinamool party killed the BJP worker.

BJP worker shot by TMC activist in West Bengal
A BJP worker has been shot by a TMC activist in West Bengal's Howrah district. The incident took place in Chandanapara in Bagnan police station area when the BJP worker was returning home. TMC worker Paritosh Majhi and some others stopped the BJP worker in the road and shot at him from a close range. The BJP worker is being treated at a state-run hospital in Kolkata and his condition is stated to be stable.

After targeting Hindi signboards at Central government offices, Kannada activists target private radio station
In their efforts to take the imposition of Hindi in Karnataka head on and to show their anger against a radio channel, pro Kannada organization Karunada Sevakaru headed by Roopesh Rajanna with over dozen activists staged a protest before the Red FM station in Bengaluru.
The activist claims that being in Karnataka, the radio station takes an “anti-Kannada stance”. In other states they respect their language sentiment but forget the same in Karnataka, the activist claimed.
