India reports highest Covid deaths in day; 4329 fatalities in 24 hours

The previous peak in the daily death toll witnessed in the country was 4,205 on May 12.
The country also reported 2,63,533 new Coronavirus infections, the lowest in 28 days.
The active cases further reduced to 33,53,765, comprising 13.29 per cent of the total infections.
According to Union Health Ministry data, the national Covid recovery rate had improved to 85.60 per cent.
The data showed that the number of people who have recovered from the disease surged to 2,15,96,512.
