Kaala director Pa Ranjith fights against Sterlite in Chennai

Pa Ranjith, director of Kabali and Kaala starring Rajinikanth, hit the streets in Chennai to express solidarity with the protesters fighting against Sterlite and Vedanta Group. Ranjith and other members from the creative field of cinema got together and held placards shouting slogans condemning the incident and the government's alleged inefficiency. Ranjith spoke to the media and urged the government of Tamil Nadu to ensure justice and restore normalcy in Thoothukudi, that is reeling in the aftermath of the Sterlite killings.
