Kings XI Punjab star Yuvraj Singh to retire after 2019 World Cup?

Star Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh, on Monday, made an official announcement on his retirement plans. Currently, an out-of-favour in the Indian One Day International (ODI) team, Yuvraj is hopeful of making a comeback in the Indian team for ICC Cricket World that will be held in England next year.

Yuvraj Singh has said he will take a call on his career after the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.

Yuvraj last played for India in the limited-overs tour of West Indies in 2017.

Yuvraj, who was player of the tournament in the 2011 World Cup at home, was also part of the Indian team led by Virat Kohli in the ICC Champions Trophy in England last year.

"I am going to look to play till 2019, whatever cricket I get to play. I will take a call when that year is over," Yuvraj told ANI.

The 36-year-old all-rounder added that he has been playing for the country for nearly two decades and will have to retire someday.

"Everybody has to decide for a while. I have been playing international cricket since 2000, it has been almost 17-18 years on and off. So, I will definitely take a call after 2019," he added.
