Italian giants Juventus is not having the right time since last season under Massimiliano Allegri. On Tuesday, during its UEFA Champions League (UCL) 2022-23 tie away to Maccabi Haifa, it suffered a 0-2 defeat, placing it third in its group table. The Bianconeri is also struggling in Serie A, ranked eighth in the league table. As a result, critics and fans have urgently called for the Italian head coach to step down from his role. However, it is not what he is thinking as of now. Instead, he is determined to fight for the club.
Allegri said to Sky Sport, "I have never thought about resigning. When a challenge becomes more difficult, it becomes even more beautiful. You have to come out with courage, desire and passion. Tomorrow, we return, and until the derby, we will all stay in Continassa. It is a duty towards the club, the fans and above all, ourselves."

While Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli also denied that Allegri would be fired, the latter responded by saying, "Agnelli is right. It was one of the worst first halves we have done. It is not right to make a performance like that. We had the wrong attitude from the start. This match is difficult to explain. We need to be silent. The performance was not up to par, especially from a character's point of view. We must keep quiet, work and get out of this situation."
Earlier, Agnelli had told the channel, "In a situation like this, it's not about one person. It's a matter to be dealt with by a whole group. We feel ashamed, and we apologise to our fans because we know they must feel ashamed to walk around at the moment. Allegri is the coach of Juventus, and he will remain as the coach of Juventus."
