Kerala hackers launch big offensive on social media porn

After waging a surgical strike on Pakistan websites last month in response to Pak cyber attacks on Kerala airports, Kerala Cyber Warriors have embarked on a bigger mission to root out child porn and to expose paedophiles on social media platforms. 

On Thursday, the Facebook page of Kerala Cyber Warriors posted a list of 34 sexting Facebook pages and 25 groups, mostly catering to South Indian audience. The cyber geeks removed the content of these pages and groups.

The cyber group, with less than 30 members, has also sought help from like-minded people online to spread the message.

Hundreds of Facebook pages and social media groups are active in Malayalam alone for sexting and for sharing porn material. It was also noted some of these groups were promoting child sex as well, making it all the more grave. The social media is increasingly becoming a place for revenge-porn too. 

Sharing the philosophy of the Legion and taking their catchword 'we do not forgive, we do not forget,' the Kerala Cyber Warriors posted the photographs of some guys who sent pictures of their estranged girlfriends to some of these hacked Facebook groups to take revenge on them.  

The two-pronged strike is titled #OP-INDIAN_ONLINE_PROSTITUTION and #OP_INDIAN_SEX_CHATTING. 

"From now on, we will post original Facebook account details and other details such as phone number(s), IP Address, House address etc. of those who hiding behind a fake sex chat accounts, Kerala Cyber Warriors posted after hacking the sexting groups. "We will hack you and expose your real face to the public."
