Industrialist and former Congress MP Naveen Jindal, alongside independent MLA from Haryana Ranjit Chautala, officially joined the BJP on Sunday. They were swiftly announced as the party's candidates for the Kurukshetra and Hisar Lok Sabha seats respectively in the state.

The decision to restore mobile internet services was met with relief by the residents of the affected districts. Kamal, a resident of Ambala, expressed gratitude, stating that the return of mobile internet services after a prolonged hiatus was a significant relief for the community.

To maintain control, mobile internet services and bulk SMS have been suspended in seven districts—Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa—from February 11 to 13.

Apart from Tiwari and Gupta, Sisodia filed the complaint against BJP leaders Hans Raj Hans Pravesh Verma, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and Harish Khurana. The summons were issued to all of them by the trial court in 2019.

On Twitter, Akhil Iyer, who describes himself as an actor and producer, clarified that he has no ties to the campaign. He also warned to take legal action against those who were responsible. The Karnataka Congress has yet to address the allegations.
