In the Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency, two Dr. Manjunaths are vying for the same seat in the upcoming elections. Dr. C.N. Manjunath, former Jayadeva hospital director, emphasizes Dalit votes, while another Dr. CN Manjunath represents the BSP. Both share the same name, fathers' names, and honorary doctorates, sparking intrigue and discussions, especially on social media.

Kerala Youth Congress election fake ID card case: According to reports, the Youth Congress 'A' group members revealed information about fake ID cards during the election. Four members Abhi Vikram, Feny, Binil Binu and Vikas Krishna were arrested, however, they got interim bail. 

The Modi government on September 1 formed a committee under former president Ram Nath Kovind to work on the 'One Nation One Election' Bill. Lashing out at the Centre, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan said that the constitutional ideals were all under 'severe threat'. It is a hidden agenda of the RSS.

The 'One Nation, One Election' idea has been mooted several times in the past, but it has never been implemented. The BJP has been pushing for the idea, arguing that it would save money and improve efficiency. The government estimates that the bill would save the exchequer around Rs 10,000 crore per year.

According to rules, last date for filing nominations of candidates in Bengaluru is March 26. Thus, March 16 is the last date for new voters to register their names in the voters' list.

Karnataka will go for Assembly election tomorrow (May 12). Thus those who do not have their voter IDs but whose names are in the voters' list can show these 12 IDs and cast your votes at the respective booths.
