A seven-year-old boy was brutally assaulted by his stepfather in Thiruvananthapuram. His mother who did not attempt to stop the assault was also arrested by the police. 

According to the Mumbai Crime Branch's investigation, the suspects performed a reconnaissance of Salman Khan's Panvel farmhouse 4-5 days before the shooting in Mumbai.

A four-year-old child named Anup lost their life in a tragic fire caused by a short circuit in an apartment in Bengaluru's RT Nagar area. Anup's parents, Pooran Khandak and Lakshmi, originally from Nepal, were both employed in the apartment complex. The fire occurred while Anup was asleep, and despite efforts by firefighters, the child tragically perished.

Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired four rounds outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai early Sunday morning. The incident prompted an investigation by local police and the crime branch, with forensic experts dispatched to the site.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) secured 10-day custody of Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taahaa, prime suspects from the 'Shivamogga ISIS Module,' in connection with the Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast. Taahaa is suspected to be the mastermind. With these arrests, the total detained rose to four, including Muzamil Sharif and Maaz Muneer Ahmed, linked to logistical support for the attack.
