Six Naxalites, including two women, were killed in a clash with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district during an anti-Naxal operation. The joint team comprising members from DRG, CRPF, and CoBRA initiated the operation based on intelligence about the presence of Naxalites from PLGA platoon no. 10. The encounter highlights the active involvement of women in Naxal operations.

Responding to this, multiple teams comprising the C-60, a specialized combat unit of the Gadchiroli police, and the Central Reserve Police Force's Quick Action team were dispatched to the area for a thorough search operation.

GN Saibaba, 54, who is wheelchair-bound, is currently serving time at Nagpur Central Jail. The 2017 sessions court conviction accused Saibaba and others of having ties to Maoists and engaging in activities tantamount to waging war against the country.

A joint operation by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Dantewada’s District Reserve Guard (DRG) in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district uncovered a strategically significant tunnel constructed by Naxals.

The police are anticipating retaliation by the Maoists for the death of a female comrade Kavitha, who was killed in an encounter in Kannur's Ayyankunnu. Kabani Dalam Commander CP Moideen confirmed the death of Kavitha.

A Maoist poster in Kannur's Ayankkunnu stated that a member of their gang named Kavitha was killed in an encounter that broke out between the Thunderbolt and the Maoists in November. They have also vowed to avenge her death. 

Kozhikode district collector Snehil Kumar Singh received a threatening message from Maoists. The letter claimed that Kozhikode city would be blown up if the police continue to hunt them down.

An encounter broke out between Thunderbolt and Maoists at Uruppumkutty Forest in Ayyankunnu Panchayat in Kannur on Monday (Nov 13). According to reports, two Maoists were injured in the encounter.

Communist Party of India (Maoist) central committee member from Andhra Pradesh has reportedly arrived in Kerala to galvanise cadres. The other day two Maoists from Chapparam- Unnimaya and Chandru were captured after an encounter with the Thunderbolts.

The police have slapped the UAPA on the Maoists who were captured after an encounter in the Chaparam area in the Wayanad district. Chandru and Unnimaya were detained by the police force and the search is on for two others who fled the scene.

The Kerala police Thunderbolts special forces apprehended two Maoists in Wayanad on Tuesday (Nov 7). They were arrested after a gun battle between the forces and the Maoists. 

The situation at the local polling booth Gudhdi indicates a 16% voter turnout so far. Contrary to earlier reports suggesting that Naxals had surrounded a polling booth, the Chhattisgarh police clarified that this information was incorrect, and the voting process is progressing without disruption.

One soldier of the CRPF CoBRA Battalion was injured in an IED blast triggered by Maoists in the Tondamarka area of Sukma. The soldier was deployed for election duty.
 

The Maoists on Monday opened fire at forest officials at Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary in Kannur. However, the officials were not injured in the firing as they fled the scene. The attack occurred without any provocation.
