A successful surgery was performed at KM Mani Memorial Government General Hospital in Kottayam Pala to remove a 4.5 kg uterine tumor from a 40-year-old woman.

Kerala Congress (M) working chairman PJ Joseph has termed the move as unfortunate and said that an alliance with the CPM at any level was not discussed before.
