Reports said that Ramaswami was fatally attacked by four undertrials wielding cricket bats around 7 am on May 14. Although the suspects were arrested by the police, the case was transferred to the CBI for further investigation.

A man from Thiruvananthapuram was arrested by the police for threatening to blow up Mumbai's Terminal 2 airport. He is being brought to Mumbai for further investigation.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) discovered Bluetooth devices distributed to cheating candidates in sugarcane fields and a juice shop just before an FDA examination. Nine candidates from Kalaburagi and Vijayapur districts have been taken into custody and are being questioned. The operation involved concealing identities with face coverings and providing Bluetooth devices via mobile phones to avoid detection by CCTV cameras.

The NIA assessment also suggests further investigation is necessary because it appears that the attack was premeditated after closer inspection.

"The video shows the boy forcibly pushing the girl inside the car. It is after the girl wanted to move out after an altercation. Further investigation is in progress," a Delhi Police officer said.

On Sunday morning, protests erupted on the campus of the Chandigarh university over "rumours" that some objectionable videos of several women students were recorded. All the mobile phones and other material has been handed over to the police for further investigation. Chandigarh University authorities on Sunday declared September 19th and 20th as non-teaching days in view of protests.

The human remains have been taken into custody by the forensic team for further investigation. The shop's owner's two sons are physicians, according to the police. It's possible that these portions were saved for medical reasons.
