The accident damaged a car, a motorcycle and property near a local tiffin centre. Fortunately, no deaths or serious injuries were reported.

Police said a few people suffered minor injuries and escaped with shock.

The CCTV footage shows the electric vehicle moving suddenly at high speed before crashing into vehicles parked and moving on the roadside.

She said her husband also informed the management about her health condition. However, she alleged that the company did not respond in a supportive manner.

Bhavana further claimed that she was under treatment for nearly two weeks and was allegedly warned that her job could be at risk if she did not return to work.

After returning to work, Bhavana said she later asked for three days of leave after her 11-year-old daughter fell ill. Bhavana alleged that her employment was subsequently terminated without giving her any additional time or a proper opportunity to explain her situation.

She accused the company of deliberately removing her from service and said she decided to protest outside the office to demand justice and her reinstatement.

In a video circulated on social media, Bhavana also raised concerns about the working conditions at the company. She alleged that employees were expected to inform their managers whenever they left their desks, including when they needed to use the washroom. The deceased has been identified as Renuka, a resident of Alwal. According to police, she was married, had a child and worked at a restaurant and pub in Hyderabad. Investigators said Renuka checked into the hotel with a man at around 3 am on Wednesday. The man reportedly left the hotel at about 10.30 pm on Thursday, while she remained in the room.

Incident During Video Call

Police said Renuka later made a video call to her friend, identified as Satya. According to the preliminary investigation, she allegedly died by suicide during the call at around 12.24 am.

Hotel staff alerted the police after discovering the incident. Officers reached the hotel, carried out an initial inspection and shifted the body for a post-mortem examination.

Police Examining All Evidence

Police have registered a case and are investigating every possible angle. They are collecting CCTV footage from the hotel, examining Renuka's mobile phone and questioning the man who had checked into the hotel with her.

Langar Houz Sub-Inspector Syed Munwar Ali said the exact reason behind the woman's death would be known only after the investigation is completed.

Officials are also waiting for the post-mortem and forensic reports before reaching any final conclusions.

According to police, as quoted by NDTV report, the accused first booked a Rapido bike and travelled with Lakshmi towards Thimmapur village. As the area remained busy with traffic and CCTV surveillance, he allegedly shifted her onto his own motorcycle and took her to a deserted road near Nustulapur.

Investigators said the man then robbed Lakshmi of around five grams of gold jewellery, silver anklets weighing about 20 grams and cash.

Police believe the accused decided to kill her to ensure there were no witnesses left who could identify him.

Technical Evidence Helped Police Solve the Case

Police formed a special investigation team after Lakshmi's rescue. Officers analysed Rapido booking records, CCTV footage and mobile phone data to trace the suspect.

The accused was identified as 21-year-old Dhamma Dinesh Reddy. During questioning, police said he confessed to the crime.

Investigators also recovered the stolen jewellery after learning that it had allegedly been sold to a jewellery trader. Police arrested the trader as well for allegedly receiving stolen property.

According to investigators, Dinesh Reddy had lost nearly Rs 4 lakh through online gambling, betting platforms and loan applications. Burdened by mounting debt, he allegedly planned the robbery to arrange money.

Police have arrested the accused and produced him before a court. The investigation is continuing.

Family alleges murder for insurance money

According to Meenakshi’s parents and relatives, Shivaji had been regularly harassing and attacking her for years, reports Indian Express. They claimed he wanted to gain control of her property and life insurance money.

Family members alleged that the house where the couple lived was registered in Meenakshi’s name. They also claimed she had a life insurance policy worth around Rs 1 crore.

Soon after Meenakshi’s death, her relatives gathered at the Thirumalayapalem police station and demanded that Shivaji be charged with murder instead of the case being treated as suicide.

The family alleged that Shivaji beat Meenakshi to death and then tried to make the incident look like suicide.

Old assault video goes viral

The case became more serious after an old video surfaced online on Friday morning. The disturbing clip allegedly shows Shivaji beating Meenakshi with a belt while she appears to be tied up.

In the video, Meenakshi can reportedly be heard crying in pain and begging while their child cries nearby.

According to police, the video was old and was allegedly recorded earlier by one of Meenakshi’s relatives. However, it was never made public at the time because family members from both sides reportedly intervened and reached a compromise.

Police said Shivaji had allegedly promised during that time that he would stop assaulting her. But according to the complaint filed by Meenakshi’s family, the abuse and harassment continued even after that.

Police waiting for post-mortem report

Thirumalayapalem Police Station Inspector V Srinivas said police were waiting for the post-mortem report to confirm the exact cause of death.

“He definitely beat her up. We have brought him to the police station for questioning. We will modify the FIR once the post-mortem reveals if it is suicide or murder,” the officer said.

Earlier reports claimed Shivaji was absconding after the incident, but police later confirmed that he had been detained for questioning.

The investigation is continuing, and police are expected to decide further charges after receiving the medical report.

The family alleged that a lecturer repeatedly praised the other student while criticising Tarun over the difference in their marks. They further alleged that the teacher humiliated him in front of other students and staff.

The complaint states that the incident became particularly serious on July 27. Tarun allegedly questioned the teacher after being criticised, following which the teacher allegedly slapped him.

His brother, T Mohan, alleged that the incident left Tarun deeply distressed. The family said he had stopped attending college for the two days before his death.

The allegations have not been independently established, and police are investigating the circumstances.

Family discovered Tarun at home

On Tuesday, Tarun did not go to college. His parents went to a temple in the afternoon, while his elder brother went to his in-laws' house, according to the complaint.

The family then sought help from a 15-year-old relative from the neighbourhood, who entered the house through an opening in the roof and opened the door from inside.

The family found Tarun dead inside the house. Police were informed and reached the spot. His body was sent for a post-mortem examination and was later handed over to his family.

Based on the complaint filed by Tarun's brother, Gadwal Rural Police registered a case against the teacher under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deals with abetment of suicide.

Gadwal Circle Inspector T Sreenu said police were examining the allegations and that further legal action would follow the preliminary investigation.

The investigation will establish what happened at the college, whether the alleged assault and humiliation took place and what circumstances preceded Tarun's death.

Wife found dead inside bathroom

However, detectives examined data from the apartment's smart-lock system and front-door security records. The digital evidence reportedly showed that although Narne briefly left the apartment, no one else entered or left during that period.

Police said this ruled out the possibility of an unknown intruder entering the home while Narne was away.

The investigation then shifted towards Narne's personal life and communications.

CCTV shows how the theft happened

According to the CCTV footage, one of the women reached towards the jewellery displayed on the shelves while the other members kept the shop staff occupied. She allegedly picked up the gold chain and placed it inside a bag.

The group then left the shop without raising suspicion among the staff at the time. The theft is believed to have taken place at around 1:30 pm on August 6.
