A tragic incident in Bengaluru has left many people shocked. A 27-year-old woman died after consuming pesticide following an argument with her husband at their home. The fight reportedly started over reheated sambar that had been served for several days. The woman, identified as Kavya, leaves behind a four-year-old child. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Kavya, aged 27, had been married to Rangaswamy for around five years. The couple lived in Bengaluru and were raising their four-year-old child together. According to the available information, their married life had been going on normally. There were no major problems reported between the couple before this incident. However, a small domestic disagreement later turned into a serious argument that ended in tragedy.

Also Read: Karnataka Woman Remarries 19 Days After Husband's 'Heart Attack', Post-Mortem Reveals Chilling Twist

Argument over reheated sambar

The dispute reportedly started over a pot of sambar that had been prepared earlier in the week.

On Tuesday, March 3, Kavya cooked sambar at home. Instead of preparing fresh sambar every day, she stored it in the refrigerator and reheated it for meals. She served the same sambar to her husband the following day, Wednesday, March 4. Rangaswamy ate it without any major complaint.

On Thursday, March 5, the same sambar was again reheated and served. According to reports, Rangaswamy became upset that he was being served the same dish for the third day in a row.

This reportedly led to a heated argument between the couple.

Argument turns serious

During the argument, Rangaswamy became very angry and shouted at Kavya. Reports say he used harsh words while arguing with her. The situation quickly became tense inside the house. The argument is said to have turned ugly, and Rangaswamy was reportedly about to get physical during the fight.

Kavya was deeply hurt by the exchange. According to reports, she broke down in tears after the argument. A short time after the argument, Kavya took a drastic step. She consumed pesticide that had been kept at home for agricultural use.

Soon after drinking it, she started feeling unwell. She began vomiting and her condition quickly worsened. Seeing her condition, Rangaswamy and other family members rushed her to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Also Read: Indore Man Dies By Suicide After Being Slapped By Cop, Family Demands Probe

Doctors declare her dead

Despite being taken to the hospital quickly, doctors could not save her. By the time she reached the hospital, she had already passed away, according to medical staff.

The tragic death has left the family and neighbours in shock, especially because the argument began over something small.

Police register case

After the incident, the woman’s body was sent to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation to understand the exact circumstances that led to her death.

A protest organised by the Women’s Congress in Shivamogga on March 11 took an unexpected turn when a local flower vendor openly criticised the party during their demonstration against the rise in cooking gas prices. The incident took place near the Shivappa Nayaka Flower Market, where Congress activists had gathered to protest the increasing cost of LPG cylinders. What was planned as a symbolic protest soon turned into a heated exchange between the activists and a local vendor.

Symbolic protest against gas cylinder price rise

Women Congress workers organised a creative protest to highlight the rising price of cooking gas. As part of the demonstration, they garlanded an LPG cylinder and prepared tea on a traditional wood stove. The idea behind the act was to show how expensive LPG cylinders have become, forcing some households to return to older cooking methods such as wood stoves.

The activists were offering the tea they prepared to people passing by in the market area to spread awareness about the issue.

Also Read: Ahmedabad Online Prostitution Racket: 2 Booked for Running Escort Service Via Social Media

Flower vendor refuses tea and criticises Congress

The situation changed when the activists offered tea to a flower vendor named Sunil, who works at the nearby market.

Sunil refused to accept the tea and instead criticised the Congress party. According to witnesses, he told the protesters that the price rise was the responsibility of the Congress government.

The activists tried to explain that the government was supporting women through welfare schemes. One activist mentioned the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, under which eligible women receive Rs 2,000 per month.

Check out the post on Instagram
A post shared by Sathish Kumar (@sathish_reports)

Heated exchange during the protest

Sunil was not convinced by the explanation. He responded sharply, saying that the scheme had not improved the overall situation. According to people present at the spot, he said the government had 'ruined everything' despite giving financial assistance.

Sunil also said that he had earlier supported the Congress party but now felt that rising prices and economic problems were affecting ordinary people. He questioned whether government promises were really helping the poor and asked where the benefits were reaching.

When the activists tried to argue that the Rs 2,000 support could help women manage expenses like school fees or travel costs, Sunil became more vocal in his criticism.

Also Read: When A Child Became Anti-Tobacco Ambassador After Heartfelt Letter To Father

Video of argument goes viral

The exchange left the Women’s Congress workers visibly surprised, as they had expected public support during the protest. Instead, they faced strong criticism from a member of the public.

A video of the incident was recorded and later shared on social media, where it quickly started circulating online. The clip has now become widely discussed in Shivamogga and surrounding areas.

Many social media users have reacted to the video, turning the confrontation into a talking point in local political discussions.

New details have emerged in the shocking Bengaluru suicide case from Kothanur, where a young couple died within minutes of each other on March 30. Investigations suggest they were struggling with career setbacks and family pressure. Bhanu Chander Reddy, a software engineer, was found hanging in his apartment. Soon after discovering his body, his wife Shazia went to the 17th floor of the building and jumped to her death.

Career struggles and job loss

According to police sources, Reddy had earlier worked in the United States with an annual salary of around ₹1 crore. However, he lost his job when his company made major changes due to the rise of artificial intelligence.

He remained unemployed for nearly a year despite trying to find work. Changes in US policies also made it harder for him to secure another job there, according to a report by India Today.

Reddy later moved to Canada but could not find employment. He eventually returned to India.

Life in Bengaluru and mental health issues

After returning, the couple tried to restart their lives. Shazia, who had been working in Hyderabad, left her job and later joined IBM. They moved to Bengaluru and appeared to be settling down.

However, police said Reddy was suffering from depression and was under medication. Investigators believe his mental health condition may have played a role in his decision.

Relationship hidden from families

The couple had known each other since childhood and later got into a relationship. They eventually married but kept it secret due to fear of family reactions, as it was an interfaith marriage.

When Reddy told his mother about the marriage, she stopped speaking to him. This deeply affected him and increased the distance between him and his family.

Shazia also did not tell her family about the marriage. Her father is said to be influential, which made her more anxious about revealing the truth.

Final moments before the incident

On the day of the incident, Shazia discovered her husband’s body and informed the authorities.

Before taking the extreme step, she tried calling her mother twice, but there was no response. She then sent messages asking for forgiveness and revealing that she had married without informing them.

Her mother, who is not very literate, could not fully understand the messages and did not alert others.

Suicide note and emotional aftermath

Police said Reddy left behind a suicide note. In it, he expressed regret for causing trouble and said he could not fulfil his responsibilities towards his wife.

He also wrote that he felt sad about not being able to introduce her openly to his family.

The news of the deaths came as a shock to both families when police informed them.

Both bodies were taken for last rites in the same ambulance. Initially, some family members objected to this, but they later agreed. They were reportedly convinced after someone said that the couple could not be together in life, so they should be allowed to stay together in death.

The death of 27-year-old Supritha in Bengaluru has taken a serious turn after her parents alleged that she was murdered. The incident happened within the Hennur police station limits in the city. At first, the case appeared to be a suicide. However, Supritha’s parents now claim their daughter was killed and that the truth is being hidden. What has raised more suspicion is that her husband, Kiran Kumar, has been missing since the incident came to light.

Marriage that began five years ago

Supritha was originally from Shidlaghatta in Chikkaballapur district. She married Kiran Kumar, who lives in Bengaluru, about five years ago. Kiran works in the sales team of a private company. According to family members, the couple’s married life started peacefully. However, they claim problems began later.

Supritha’s family now says she had been facing harassment related to dowry demands for some time.

Also Read: Overspeeding Car Hits Sanitation Worker And Scooter In Telangana's Nalgonda, CCTV Video Surfaces

Parents raise serious doubts

On Monday, Supritha’s parents and relatives gathered outside her residence in Hennur. They were deeply upset and demanded justice. According to her parents, they were first told that Supritha had died by hanging. But when they reached the house, they say they found her body lying on the bed.

Her parents said this made them suspicious.

“They tried to make us believe our daughter died by hanging herself. But when we reached there, her body was on the bed. We suspect she may have been poisoned or attacked with a heavy object,” her parents said while speaking to reporters.

The grieving family believes their daughter did not die by suicide.

Allegations of dowry harassment

Supritha’s parents have also accused her husband of constantly demanding money from them. They claim that Kiran Kumar wanted money to buy a new vehicle and was pressuring Supritha to ask her parents for it.

According to them, the harassment was not only verbal but also physical and mental. “Even when our daughter came to stay with us for a few days, he would come there and torture her,” the parents alleged.

They further said they believe their daughter was killed because of greed. “They killed our daughter and are now acting innocent,” the family claimed.

Also Read: Solo Traveller Alleges Harassment By Scuba Instructor In Egypt, Video Goes Viral

Husband untraceable after incident

Another major point that has increased suspicion is the disappearance of Supritha’s husband. According to reports, Kiran Kumar has been missing since Monday morning. His mobile phone is switched off, and his current location is not known.

Family members say he should have been present at home when Supritha died. His absence has therefore raised more questions in the case.

Police have now started searching for him.

Post-mortem to reveal exact cause

Supritha’s body has been sent to B.R. Ambedkar Hospital in Bengaluru for a post-mortem examination. Officials say the medical report will help determine the exact cause of death.

The report will also help police understand whether the death was a suicide or a possible murder.

The Hennur police have visited the house and examined the location where the death took place. Police officials said they have begun legal action based on the complaint given by Supritha’s parents.

“We are registering a case based on the parents’ complaint of dowry harassment and murder. The exact cause of death will become clear after the post-mortem report. We have started a search for the husband who is currently missing,” a police officer said.

The sudden and tragic end of a five-year marriage has shocked people living in the area. Many residents have expressed sadness over the incident and are waiting for the investigation to reveal the truth.

A woman who went in for a routine surgery is now fighting for her life, all because of alleged negligence by doctors at a private hospital in Shivamogga district of Karnataka. This shocking incident happened at Shivamogga's 'Amrutha Lifecare' hospital. The family claims that an overdose of anaesthesia during the procedure has left the woman in a coma.

What exactly happened?

Devi Bai, a 45-year-old resident of Ayanur village in Shivamogga taluk, was suffering from a hernia. She was admitted to Amrutha Lifecare hospital on March 11 for treatment. Doctors performed the hernia surgery on March 12. However, her family alleges that she was given too much anaesthesia. Since March 13, she has been completely unresponsive.

Woman slips into a coma

Days have passed since the surgery, but Devi Bai has not regained consciousness. Her family is furious, stating that a doctor's blunder has pushed her into a coma. On the hospital's advice, she was first shifted to Nanjappa Hospital in Shivamogga. But when her condition didn't improve, she was moved to a private hospital in Bengaluru for advanced treatment.

'Doctor was arrogant, gave us threats'

The family has lashed out at Dr. Dhananjay, the doctor who performed the surgery. "The doctor is arguing with us, saying 'What I did was correct'," said Devi Bai's son-in-law, Kantharaj, and another relative, Usha Naik. They also claim that the hospital management threatened them. "The management was very arrogant. They told us, 'You can go to the police or court if you want, nothing will happen to us'," the distressed family members told the media.

Demand for legal action

The family says the doctors have ruined the life of a woman who came for a simple surgery. Videos from the day after the surgery, showing heated arguments with the doctor, are now doing the rounds on social media.

After starting friendly conversations online, they slowly gained the women's trust.

The group would then invite them to attend private 'after-parties' held at a villa in Jakkur or at luxury hotels in the city.

Officers say the accused deliberately selected young women under the age of 25.

Police investigation revealed that ecstasy pills were allegedly brought from Goa for these parties. According to officials, the drugs were secretly mixed into food or drinks given to the women during the gatherings.

Once the victims became semi-conscious, the gang allegedly assaulted them.

Police also suspect that the accused filmed private videos during these incidents. Investigators believe the videos were later used to threaten or blackmail the victims.

These allegations are being carefully examined as part of the ongoing probe.

Police say Nikhil is believed to be the main organiser behind the parties. He is suspected of arranging the locations and planning the gatherings.

Another accused, Dixon, is believed to have played a key role in bringing women into the group's network. According to investigators, he used social media platforms to befriend young women.

After gaining their trust, he would ask them to introduce him to their friends. This helped the group expand its network and invite more people to the parties.

Police are now examining digital communication and social media accounts linked to the suspects.

Also Read: Doctor Held In Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada After PG Medico's Suicide; Police Suspect Relationship Dispute

Investigators have also found that some older men reportedly attended the parties.

According to police, men above the age of 45 were referred to as “Sugar Daddies,” while the young women were described as “Sugar Babies.”

Authorities suspect that some of these individuals may have been regular participants in the gatherings.

Police are now trying to identify everyone who attended these events.

Police probe spreads to Goa and city hotels

As part of the investigation, Karnataka police have travelled to Goa to gather more information about the alleged supply of ecstasy pills.

Meanwhile, officers in Bengaluru have inspected several locations where similar parties were believed to have taken place.

Police have conducted spot inspections at the Jakkur villa and at several luxury hotels in the city.

Investigators are also reviewing CCTV footage from these places to identify people who attended the parties.

Possible involvement of influential people

Police sources say there is a possibility that some government officials, businessmen, and other influential individuals may have attended these gatherings.

However, authorities have not released any names so far.

Officials said the investigation is still in its early stages and more evidence needs to be collected before drawing conclusions.

Police have urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward.

A minor driving an Audi hit a scooter while attempting an ‘action brake’ video. Police arrested the minor and his father for allowing underage driving.

A tragic incident in Hubballi, Karnataka, has raised serious concerns over the growing craze for social media Reels. A 15-year-old boy, Nimish Sangalad, lost his life after a dangerous stunt involving a car and a scooter went wrong. Nimish was the son of BJP leader Veeresh Sangalad.

According to police, a group of minors were trying to shoot a dramatic ‘action brake’ Reel. The plan was to drive a car at high speed and then suddenly apply brakes for a thrilling effect on video.

The 15-year-old son of a Karnataka BJP leader died in an accident in Hubbali on Thursday while shooting a social media reel. The shoot involved an Audi Q7 and an Ola electric two-wheeler approaching each other at high speed, and swerving at the final moment. The police… pic.twitter.com/l74qd91byQ

— Hate Detector (@HateDetectors) March 22, 2026

However, the stunt went horribly wrong. Authorities said the father allowed his underage son to drive the vehicle, which is a serious offence.

Both the father and son have been sent to judicial custody. Police said strict action is being taken as negligence led to a young life being lost.

Further investigation has revealed more problems. The Audi car’s insurance had expired in December 2022 and was never renewed. This adds to the legal trouble for the owner.

Officials also found that the car is still registered in the name of its previous owner, Anil Kumar S. from Uttar Pradesh, since 2013.

Vinay, an alleged Ayurvedic doctor in Mysuru, is accused of cheating multiple women. One doctor, Nagashree, died after 12 years in coma, while another young woman committed suicide. His wife has revealed shocking details of his bizarre sexual abuse.
People say doctors are like gods, but this man from Mysuru, Vinay, is a different story. He calls himself an Ayurvedic doctor, but shocking truths are now tumbling out. He's accused of being a serial offender who trapped women in the name of love, leading to death and misery. This 'fraudulent doctor' ran a clinic near Hanagodu in Hunsur taluk. His real face is now exposed. After his wife filed a case of bizarre sexual harassment, his dark past and old affairs are coming to light. People are now demanding strict police action against him. This story goes back 12 years. Dr. Nagashree was working at a private Ayurvedic hospital in Mysuru when Vinay joined as a junior. He tricked his senior into a relationship, promising marriage. But when she asked to get married, he backed out, making an excuse that his family wouldn't approve as she was two years older than him.Vinay then suggested a suicide pact. He took Dr. Nagashree to a lodge in Srirangapatna. After they both took sleeping pills, he allegedly gave her an overdose injection to kill her. She slipped into a coma, but he was unharmed. After 12 long years in a coma, Dr. Nagashree recently passed away.Gowthami Hiremath, a Chartered Accountant, met Dr. Vinay on Facebook in 2017 after she returned from England. They dated for a year. Shockingly, Gowthami later committed suicide. Her father filed a police complaint blaming Vinay for her death, but he allegedly used his influence to escape the case. His third victim was Vinoda, a girl from a village near Hanagodu, whom he married. She left him just 15 days later. He allegedly started harassing her for dowry within a week, demanding that her family transfer land to his name to cover wedding expenses.Vinoda alleges that when she refused his dowry demands, the torture began. He would allegedly drug her juice to make her drowsy and demand 'unnatural sex' at night. She claims he even threatened her with a gun if she didn't comply.

A shocking incident has come to light from Jayanagar Colony in Karnataka's Dharwad. Savita Hongalamath, the 40-year-old daughter of a former city corporator, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her own home. The family has now made a serious allegation, claiming this is a case of murder.

What happened?

Savita Hongalamath was a homemaker and had been married for several years. Today, she was found dead inside her house. While the scene initially suggested a suicide, her family has strongly refuted this, calling it a well-planned murder. The fact that her mother was a former corporator of the Dharwad Municipal Corporation has made this a high-profile case in the city.

Husband's affair the reason for her death?

Savita's parents and relatives are pointing fingers directly at her husband. They claim he was having an extramarital affair. 'There were constant fights between the couple over this issue. Savita used to question him about his affair, and because of this, he would constantly harass her physically and mentally,' a family member said in anger.

'Murdered and then hanged,' family suspects

What makes the family even more suspicious is that Savita's body was reportedly taken down before the police could even reach the spot. "She was murdered and then hanged from the fan to make it look like a suicide. Why was the body brought down before the police arrived to inspect the scene?" the family questioned. They are firm that the husband's harassment is the direct cause of her death.

Police investigation begins

As soon as they were informed, Dharwad police rushed to the location and began their investigation.

A serious case has emerged from Hubballi where a gym trainer has been arrested after a woman accused him of rape and blackmail. The victim released a video explaining her ordeal. Police found suspicious documents on the accused’s phone.

A major controversy has come to light in Hubballi. A gym trainer named Sameer has been accused of trapping young women through friendship and later assaulting and blackmailing them.

The allegations have created tension in the city and drawn public attention. The victim has now released a video statement exposing Sameer's actions.

The case came into focus after the victim released a video from an undisclosed location. In her statement, she explained how she came to know the accused.

She said her friend was Sameer’s sister, Taiseem Mulla, and through her, she met Sameer. They used to meet during social gatherings like birthdays and weekend parties.

The woman said that one day Sameer called her to his house. She alleged that he gave her a drink, after which she lost consciousness.

She claimed that during this time, he assaulted her and recorded the act. Later, he allegedly used the video to threaten and blackmail her.

After learning about the incident, members of a local group, Sri Ram Sene, reportedly caught Sameer and handed him over to the police.

The accused is now in custody at the Old Hubballi police station.

Hindu organisations have expressed anger, claiming that gyms are turning into hubs for 'Love Jihad'.

The situation became tense when the accused’s family and supporters allegedly reached the victim’s house in Vikas Nagar.

Reports say Sameer's family and supporters were furious that he was taken to the police. They allegedly barged into the woman's house in Vikas Nagar and created a ruckus.

They are accused of creating a disturbance, assaulting family members, and making threats. This led to further anger among local residents.

Sameer is now in police custody. The woman's family has filed a complaint against the assault and injustice they faced.

During investigation, police reportedly checked Sameer’s phone and found several pregnancy-related reports.

Officials are examining these findings as part of the case. Some items like contraceptive pills were also recovered from him.

Police also found contraceptive pills on the gym trainer, Sameer Mulla.

Sameer’s sister, Taiseem Mulla, has denied the allegations. She said her brother is young and questioned why he would carry such items.

His sister defended him, saying, 'My brother is just 24, these are serious allegations. He has no reason to carry these pills.' But with the victim's own video statement out, the case has taken a sharp turn.

Despite the denial, the case has gained serious attention after the victim’s video statement.

Police have increased security in areas like Vijaynagar and Vikas Nagar to maintain peace.

Officials said the investigation is ongoing, and strict action will be taken based on evidence. The report mentioned pressure marks around the neck area and evidence that his breathing had been blocked.

This confirmed that the death was not natural but the result of foul play.

Also Read: Kochi Man Lured by Woman Online, Beaten After Refusing Sex, Accused Arrested

Murder planned by wife and lover

After the report, the police detained Asha for questioning.
