LinkedIn has unveiled its 2026 Top Companies list for India, naming the 25 best workplaces for professionals looking to build strong, long-term careers. This year's ranking comes at a time when artificial intelligence is changing the way people work. Many jobs are evolving quickly and workers are trying to prepare for an AI-driven future.

At the top of the list is Infosys, followed by Accenture, Amazon, JPMorganChase and SAP.

The annual ranking is based entirely on LinkedIn data and focuses on companies that help employees learn, grow, and move forward in their careers.

The significance of the list in 2026

The world of work is changing faster than ever.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries, especially technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. Companies are redesigning jobs, creating new roles, and looking for fresh skills.

In India, professionals are responding quickly.

LinkedIn says Indian workers are now 1.8 times more likely to use AI tools every day or every week compared with just 18 months ago.

Skills such as prompt engineering and Large Language Model Operations have become highly valuable.

But technical skills alone are not enough.

Human skills still matter most

Even in the age of AI, companies still want people who can work well with others. Teamwork, communication, leadership and problem-solving remain essential.

LinkedIn says these human skills are now even more important because AI can handle many routine tasks.

This means employees who can think clearly, collaborate, and adapt will have the biggest advantage.

How LinkedIn created the ranking

LinkedIn's Top Companies list has now been published for ten years. It uses real LinkedIn data collected from millions of professionals.

The ranking looks at several important factors, including:

How quickly employees get promoted

How often they learn new skills

Whether they move into new roles inside the company

How stable employment is

How well companies attract talent

The goal is simple: identify workplaces where careers can truly grow.

Infosys takes the top spot

Infosys ranked number one in India for 2026. The company continues to be one of the country's largest employers in technology and consulting.

Its biggest hiring hubs are Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune. The most common skills at Infosys include SQL, Java and JavaScript. Popular roles include System Engineer, Information Technology Analyst and Technical Architect.

Infosys serves clients across many industries, from healthcare and retail to automotive and banking.

Accenture and Amazon follow closely

Accenture claimed second place. The consulting giant remains one of the most sought-after employers for software engineers, consultants and project managers.

Its strongest hiring markets are Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR.

Amazon secured third place.

The e-commerce and cloud giant continues to attract talent in engineering, operations and sales. Its most common skills include Python, project management and Java.

Financial firms dominate the top 10

Banks and financial institutions performed strongly.

JPMorganChase ranked fourth, while Wells Fargo secured tenth place.

These companies offer strong opportunities in finance, engineering, fraud detection and analytics. Their growing technology teams show how banking has become deeply digital.

Technology giants remain powerful

Several global tech leaders made the list.

SAP ranked fifth.

IBM took sixth place.

Alphabet, Google's parent company, came eighth.

Microsoft ranked sixteenth.

NVIDIA, one of the world's most important AI chip makers, placed twelfth.

ServiceNow also made the top 25.

These firms continue to invest heavily in AI, cloud computing and software development.

The complete top 10

Here are LinkedIn's top 10 companies in India for 2026:

Infosys

Accenture

Amazon

JPMorganChase

SAP

IBM

Fidelity Investments

Alphabet

EY

Wells Fargo

These companies represent technology, consulting, banking and financial services.

Strong presence from financial services

Financial firms feature prominently throughout the list. Besides JPMorganChase and Wells Fargo, the ranking includes HSBC, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley.

These companies are investing heavily in technology, data, cybersecurity and digital banking. For job seekers, this means financial services remain one of India's strongest sectors.

Healthcare and life sciences also on the list

Eli Lilly entered the list at number eleven.

The pharmaceutical giant offers exciting opportunities in data science, clinical research, and engineering.

Stryker also made the cut.

Healthcare companies are increasingly hiring technology professionals as medicine becomes more digital.

Semiconductor firms shine

AI has increased demand for semiconductor companies.

NVIDIA, Sandisk, Marvell Technology, and RTX all secured places on the list.

These companies are building the hardware that powers AI systems, cloud computing, and modern electronics.

Engineers with skills in embedded systems, machine learning, and chip design are especially valuable.

Consulting remains a strong choice

Consulting firms continue to attract ambitious professionals.

EY ranked ninth.

Boston Consulting Group placed twentieth.

These firms offer exposure to multiple industries, fast learning, and strong career progression.

They are ideal for people who enjoy solving business problems.

Hospitality and travel join the mix

Royal Caribbean Group stood out as one of the most unique companies on the list.

Unlike many technology-heavy firms, it offers opportunities in hospitality, culinary arts and operations.

Its inclusion shows the ranking covers many different career paths.

Where the jobs are

Bengaluru remains India's biggest job hub. It appears repeatedly across the list. Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune also feature heavily.

These cities continue to drive India's technology and professional services economy.

For many job seekers, location still plays a major role.

Skills employers want most

Certain skills appear again and again across the rankings.

The most valuable include:

SQL

Java

Python

JavaScript

Project Management

Agile Methodologies

Data Analysis

Machine Learning

Embedded Systems

Business Analysis

Learning even a few of these can significantly improve job prospects.

AI skills are now essential

LinkedIn says AI-focused skills are becoming critical. Prompt engineering and Large Language Model Operations are among the fastest-growing skills.

Professionals who understand how to work with AI tools will have an edge. But companies also want people who can use AI responsibly and effectively.

Best companies for engineers

Engineering remains the largest hiring function at most top companies. Strong options include:

Infosys

Amazon

NVIDIA

Microsoft

Marvell Technology

Sandisk

RTX

These companies offer some of the best opportunities for software and hardware engineers.

Best companies for finance professionals

Finance professionals have excellent options too. JPMorganChase, Wells Fargo, HSBC, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley all rank highly.

These firms hire for financial analysis, fraud prevention, operations and risk management.

Best companies for consultants

For consulting careers, Accenture, EY, IBM, and BCG are standout choices. These firms help employees develop leadership, client management, and strategic thinking.

They also offer broad industry exposure.

Full LinkedIn Top 25 Companies In India 2026

Infosys

Accenture

Amazon

JPMorganChase

SAP

IBM

Fidelity Investments

Alphabet

EY

Wells Fargo

Eli Lilly and Company

NVIDIA

HSBC

Bank of America

HP

Microsoft

Morgan Stanley

Sandisk

Marvell Technology

Boston Consulting Group

Royal Caribbean Group

RTX

Stryker

Thomson Reuters

ServiceNow

The list reflects India's changing economy. Technology remains dominant, but banking, healthcare, manufacturing, defence, and hospitality are all growing strongly.

It also highlights India's importance as a global talent hub. International companies continue to expand their presence here.

AI may be changing the workplace, but great companies still focus on people. They invest in learning, leadership, and career development.

That is exactly what LinkedIn's Top Companies list celebrates. For anyone thinking about their next move, this ranking offers a valuable roadmap.

And if the list proves anything, it is this: the future belongs to those who keep learning.

Rajasthan has launched 'Saarthak Naam Abhiyan' to replace awkward student names with meaningful ones to boost confidence and protect children from ridicule. Around 3,000 alternative names have been prepared, and changes will happen only with parental consent. The initiative also focuses on removing caste-linked names and improving student dignity.

They say what's in a name…But name is more than just a word! It shapes identity, confidence and how others see you. It stays with a person for life and can either build self-esteem or become a reason for embarrassment. That is why Rajasthan has come up with a unique initiative. A new step to improve student confidence, the Rajasthan government has started a special campaign to change names of school students that may sound awkward, insulting, or outdated. The campaign is called the Saarthak Naam Abhiyan, which means 'meaningful name campaign'. This is a first-of-its-kind move in India. The aim is to help children feel more confident and respected, especially in school.

Why the campaign was started

School Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that many parents give names without thinking about their meaning or future impact. He explained that while some names may seem normal when children are young, they can later become a reason for teasing or embarrassment. 'Names like 'Sheru' or 'Kajormal' can affect a child’s dignity and confidence', he told Indian Express. Officials believe that such names can even stop children from taking part in class or, in some cases, attending school regularly.

Examples of name changes

Under the campaign, names like Sheru, Shaitan, Kalu, and Tinku may be replaced with more meaningful options. For boys, suggested names include Aarav, Atharva, Balmukund, and Badrinath. For girls, options include Aradhya, Annapurna, and Vaishnavi. Each name has been selected for its positive meaning and cultural value.

Thousands of name options prepared

The Education Department has created a large list of nearly 3,000 alternative names.

1,409 names are for boys

1,541 names are for girls

Each name comes with its meaning. In many cases, the list also includes details related to astrology. This list will be shared with parents so they can choose a suitable name for their child.

Consent-based process through schools

The government has made it clear that no child’s name will be changed without permission. The campaign will cover students from Classes 1 to 9 in government schools. Schools have been asked to handle the process carefully and respectfully. Teachers will talk to parents during meetings and explain the purpose of the campaign. School Management Committees will also be involved. If parents agree, the new name will be updated in official school records. Parents of newly admitted students will also get the option to select a meaningful name at the time of admission.

Focus on removing derogatory and caste-linked names

The government has also stressed the need to remove names that are linked to caste or are seen as disrespectful. Minister Madan Dilawar said that names play an important role in shaping a person’s identity and self-worth. He added that respectful and positive names should be used for all students. In some communities, certain names are considered insulting. The government has said that both first names and surnames can be changed in a respectful way if needed.

A step towards better mental well-being

Officials say the main goal of the campaign is to protect children from emotional stress caused by their names. They believe that a good name can help improve a child’s confidence, participation in school, and overall personality. The campaign is also seen as part of a larger effort to focus on the complete development of students, not just their studies.

Monitoring and implementation

Senior officials will closely monitor how the campaign is carried out across schools. The government wants to ensure that the process is smooth and that parents fully understand the benefits. The campaign is being seen as more than just an administrative step. It is also about giving children a sense of pride and identity.

Additional move on school discipline

Along with this campaign, the Education Minister has also announced another step. The department will prepare a list of school staff who use tobacco products like gutka or are involved in smoking or other harmful habits. The aim is to help these employees overcome addiction and make sure students are not influenced by such behaviour.

The significance of the initiative

This campaign highlights how small things like names can have a big impact on a child’s life. By encouraging meaningful names, the government hopes to create a more positive and respectful school environment. Experts say this step could help students feel more confident and valued, which may improve their learning experience.

An Indian-origin woman working as a Speech and Language Therapist in the United Kingdom has been dismissed after concerns were raised about her ability to understand and communicate in English. Sai Keerthana Sriperambuduru joined the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in October 2023. She worked as a Band 5 paediatric speech and language therapist. However, within weeks of starting her role, colleagues noticed that she was struggling to understand both patients and staff.

Questions raised soon after joining

According to reports, Sriperambuduru had stated in her job application that English was her first language. Because of this, she was not required to provide proof of language proficiency. But problems became clear early on. Co-workers found it difficult to communicate with her, and there were concerns about her ability to carry out her duties safely. As a speech and language therapist, clear communication is a key part of the job, especially when working with children and families.

Also Read: Dhanbad Woman's Body Kept For Days, Brother Tries To Burn It At Home

Review meetings reveal issues

The hospital held a review meeting on November 7, 2023. During this meeting, Sriperambuduru admitted that Telugu, not English, was her first language. In another review meeting held in December, she said she had started taking English lessons outside work. She also shared that she found it hard to understand fast speech, especially from children and parents. She faced difficulties with pronunciation, sentence structure, grammar, and writing down conversations.

Unusual request during hiring process

Her line manager told the panel that during the hiring process, Sriperambuduru had asked for a chat-box option for the interview. This meant that questions would be typed instead of asked face-to-face. The manager described this as unusual, especially since she was already living in the UK at the time. The panel later saw this request as a possible attempt to hide her language difficulties.

Also Read: UP Sub-Inspector Found Drunk, Semi-Naked On VIP Duty During CM Event, Suspended

Dismissal after probation period

After completing eight months of probation, Sriperambuduru was dismissed in June 2024. The Trust said it could not continue to provide the level of support she needed without affecting patient care and the wider team. A spokesperson confirmed that her employment lasted from October 2023 to June 2024. Reports of her dismissal came to light only recently.

Tribunal and panel findings

Sriperambuduru challenged the decision and took the case to the Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service (HCPTS). She argued that her education was in English, and she believed it could be considered her first language. In her written submission, she said she did not realise that the UK definition required English to be the main language used in daily life. She also admitted later that she had not taken the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam before coming to the UK. However, the panel rejected her arguments. It ruled that she had tried to mislead the Trust about her language ability to secure the job. As a result, she was removed from the professional register.

Clear rules on language requirements

The application form clearly asks candidates whether English is their first language. It also explains that this means the main language used in everyday life. The form states that studying in English or completing education in English does not automatically make it a person’s first language.

This case has raised questions about language checks in sensitive roles like healthcare. Experts say strong communication skills are essential, especially when dealing with patients. The incident also shows how important it is to provide correct information during job applications.

For Durgesh Ojha, access to the internet changed everything. Today, the 36-year-old entrepreneur is dedicated to making it accessible in India’s most remote villages. Born in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, to a carpenter father, he grew up facing financial struggles. His turning point came when a computer training centre opened in his town. From there, he moved step by step towards building his company, ‘Hybrid Internet’.

Doing odd jobs to survive

Right from his childhood, Durgesh had to do multiple jobs to make ends meet. When he was in the 5th grade, he would go to a neighbour's house to watch TV. While there, he picked up tailoring. By the time he reached the 10th grade, he had learned to stitch shirts and pants. To help with the family income, he would also assist other tailors during the busy wedding seasons. In 2009, he and a friend started a cyber cafe and computer repair shop in Guna with borrowed money. But due to financial problems, they had to shut it down within a year. To pay off the debt, Durgesh was forced to drop out of his studies and find work.

Back home to start his own business

In 2010, he moved to Ahmedabad and found a job using his technical skills. He carefully watched how big companies there operated and learned the ropes of running a business. With a renewed dream of starting his own company, he returned to Guna in 2012. He launched 'Hybrid Computer Solutions', a firm that provided security services like CCTV installation. In 2014, he discovered that it was possible to provide internet wirelessly, and that's when he shifted his focus. In April 2015, he renamed his company to 'Hybrid Internet'.

Wireless internet for the remote

"We are an internet service provider, just like Airtel. But instead of providing internet only through wires, we work with wireless technology. That's why we can provide service in remote areas where internet hasn't reached," Ojha explains. Today, Hybrid Internet's services are available in places like Mizoram, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Over the last few years, he has reached a point where he draws a salary of ₹3 to ₹5 lakh per month. But for him, the satisfaction of bringing internet to ordinary people is far greater than financial success. Providing internet to an orphanage in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, and connecting about 300 hospitals in Ladakh—250 of which got internet for the very first time—are some of the biggest achievements for Ojha and his team. Bringing internet to places with harsh weather and poor infrastructure is a huge challenge, but Durgesh is extremely satisfied with the work he is doing.

Also read: CBSE 10th Result 2026: Faridabad Girl Scores Perfect 500/500 Marks

The 8th Pay Commission is hiring experts for high-paying roles without exams. With flexible work options, candidates can earn up to ₹1.80 lakh monthly, even by working just a few days each month.

Are you looking for a government job with a great salary? Then this news is for you. The 8th Pay Commission has a super job opportunity. You can earn a fat paycheck working just six days a month. Let's find out how to apply.
So, who can apply for this 8th Pay Commission job? As per the government order from April 10, 2026, the commission needs experts to review the salary, pension, and allowances of Central Government employees. They are hiring people in three categories based on experience and age. If your age is between 32 and 45, you can apply depending on your qualifications.
The 8th Pay Commission has opened these positions: Senior Consultant (10 years experience, max age 45), Consultant (6 years experience, max age 40), and Young Professional (4 years experience, max age 32).

A key point to note: your age and experience will be calculated as of April 1, 2026.

The salary is the biggest plus point of this job. You can choose between full-time or part-time work. A Senior Consultant gets ₹1,80,000 per month for a full-time role.

If you work 12 days a month, you get ₹90,000, and for just 6 days, you get ₹45,000.

Similarly, a Consultant's full-time salary is ₹1,20,000, with part-time options paying ₹60,000 (12 days) and ₹30,000 (6 days).

Young Professionals get ₹90,000 for full-time, ₹45,000 for 12 days, and ₹22,500 for 6 days.
You don't have to write any exam for this job. A committee of the Commission's senior officials will review your application and call eligible candidates straight for an interview. The committee's decision will be final. Just remember, this is a contract job, not a permanent one.Selected professionals will have to help the 8th Pay Commission. Your work will involve analysing employee salary structures, studying past data, doing legal research, and collecting data from various ministries. Basically, you will help decide the future salary hikes for Central Government employees. There are no other allowances; you only get the salary. The commission won't provide DA, HRA, medical cover, or phone bill reimbursements. They will give you office space, but you have to bring your own laptop and phone. Also, the commission can fire you without any notice for poor performance or indiscipline. If you have research and data analysis experience, don't wait! Just visit the official website to submit your application form and documents.

It puts students and parents in a real fix. In the old days, people thought only about becoming a doctor or engineer. But today's world is full of new opportunities. Choosing the right field isn't just about a job; it's a major decision that decides your income, social standing, and work-life balance.
Nowadays, just studying for a job is not enough. You must choose a field where your skills and interests meet. Many people just follow the crowd, thinking 'everyone is doing this'. But that path doesn't guarantee a job for everyone. You will find long-term growth only if you enjoy your journey. So, it's a smart move to assess your strengths, weaknesses, and interests before making a choice.

Also read: ‘Godfather of AI’ Geoffrey Hinton Raises Alarm Over AI Risks, Urges Strong Global Regulation
Fields like Data Science and Artificial Intelligence are growing very fast today. Social media, online businesses, and digital services all run on data. Companies desperately need experts who can understand this data and help them make the right decisions. If you have an interest in maths, logic, and technology, you can choose this field for a great starting salary and huge growth opportunities. The legal field has also reached new heights. Lawyers play a key role not just in courts but also in the corporate world. You can enter this field directly through five-year integrated courses like BA LLB or BBA LLB. Also, if you are interested in management, you can opt for IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) to start your management education right away. This saves time and sets you on a fast career track.
Those who want to serve the nation can join the Indian Army as an officer through the NDA. This is not just a job; it's a way of life that combines respect, discipline, and patriotism. At the same time, fields like Digital Marketing and Content Creation offer massive opportunities for today's youth. With the growth of social media, creative people get a chance to work on a global scale. If you make the right choice, your career path will shine bright with success.

Also read: Government Jobs 2026: Big Opportunity for 12th Pass; Apply for SSC 731 Stenographer Vacancies

Planning for college after CBSE 12th Result 2026? Admissions to DU, JNU and BHU now depend mainly on CUET scores, not just board marks, giving students a fairer chance at top universities.

CBSE 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the 12th board results for 2026 very soon. Once the results are out, students who took the exam can check and download their scores from the official website, cbse.gov.in. But in the meantime, let's talk about something more important: how do you get into top universities like Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and Banaras Hindu University (BHU)? And what kind of scores do you need? The truth is, just getting a high score in your board exams isn't enough anymore. The entire focus of college admissions has shifted to a new system. Let's break down how this system works and how it gives even students with lower 12th-grade marks a fair shot at getting in.

Do CBSE 12th marks decide your admission to a top college?

Just a few years ago, cut-offs of 95% to 100% were common in places like Delhi University. This put immense pressure on students to score exceptionally well in their board exams. But now, the picture has completely changed. In the current system, your CBSE marks only prove that you have completed your schooling and are eligible for admission. Think of your board result as a necessary step, but not the one that decides which college you'll get. The real competition now happens in the entrance exam.

Also read: What to Do After 12th: 5 Smart Career Options for a Bright Future

How does admission to DU work? What is CUET's role?

Admissions to undergraduate courses at Delhi University are now done entirely through the CUET (UG) exam. This has made the process much more transparent and fair for everyone. A student first needs to get a good score in CUET. Based on that score, they are allotted a college and course through the CSAS portal. Your board marks are not directly included in the merit list. However, if two students have the exact same CUET score, their Class 12 or Class 10 marks are used as a tie-breaker. Also, some courses might have a minimum percentage requirement that you need to meet. All in all, the student who performs better in CUET is the one who gets ahead in DU.

What is the admission process for JNU?

The admission pattern at Jawaharlal Nehru University is also linked with CUET now. Here too, board marks are only checked for eligibility, while the selection is based entirely on your entrance exam score. It's very important for students to choose the right sections in the CUET exam, especially English and the General Test, as these are required for most courses. We've seen that students with a strong academic base tend to do better in the entrance exam, but that doesn't mean only high-scorers succeed. With the right preparation and strategy, any student can achieve a good score.

Do students with low marks in CBSE 12th also have a fair chance?

The best thing about this new system is that it gives students a second chance. If for some reason you didn't get the marks you expected in your board exams, it doesn't mean your dream of getting into a top university is over. Universities like Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University, and many others now use CUET scores for admission. So, students can improve their preparation, perform well in the entrance exam, and secure a seat in their preferred college. This change has turned out to be a big opportunity for students.

What should 12th-grade students do for top college admissions?

In this changing admission system, it's crucial for students to keep their focus in the right direction. Instead of worrying about your board results, it's more beneficial to concentrate on preparing for CUET. Choosing the right subject combination, taking regular mock tests, and working on time management can be the key to success. Students who plan their preparation smartly are the ones who will get ahead in this competition. The CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 is definitely an important milestone, but it's not the final verdict. Today, the real basis for college admission is your CUET score. So, if your goal is to get into DU, JNU, or any other top university, you need to put all your energy into performing brilliantly in the entrance exam.

Also read: Government Jobs 2026: Big Opportunity for 12th Pass; Apply for SSC 731 Stenographer Vacancies

Working at Google is a dream for many people around the world. The company is known for its high salaries, excellent work culture, great benefits and strong career growth. But many job seekers believe getting into Google is nearly impossible. Now, a Google employee has shared a video that clears up some of the biggest myths about the company's hiring process.

Viral video by Google employee

Neha Sharma, a digital marketer at Google, posted the video on social media. In the clip, she explained three common misunderstandings that many people have when applying for jobs at Google.

Her simple and honest advice quickly caught the attention of thousands of viewers. Many found her words helpful and reassuring.

Myth one: Google only hires coders

One of the biggest myths, according to Sharma, is that Google only hires software engineers and programmers.

She said that is simply not true.

"Whenever people hear Google, the first thing they think is coding," she explained.

But Google also hires people for many non-technical roles, including marketing, sales, finance, operations and human resources.

"If everyone's going to code, who is going to sell what we build?" she asked.

Myth two: Interviews must be perfect

Sharma also challenged the belief that candidates need perfect answers in every interview. She said Google is more interested in how people think.

The company wants to see how candidates solve problems, especially in difficult situations. Interviewers focus on logic, decision-making and creativity rather than memorised responses.

That insight was especially comforting for many viewers.

Myth three: Only IIT or IIM graduates get hired

Another common belief is that Google only recruits from top colleges like the IITs and IIMs. Sharma said this is also false.

She pointed out that several members of her own team did not study at elite institutions.

Despite that, they perform extremely well.

According to her, Google cares far more about a person's skills, work experience and achievements.

Job seekers respond positively

The video received a warm response online. Many viewers thanked Sharma for making the process feel less intimidating. Some were happy to learn that non-technical roles are widely available.

Others felt encouraged by her comments about college degrees and interviews.

For many young professionals, her advice offered fresh hope.

What Google really values

Sharma's message was clear. Google looks beyond resumes, degrees and textbook answers. The company wants talented people who can think clearly, solve problems and contribute meaningfully.

That is welcome news for anyone hoping to work at one of the world's biggest companies.

MBA Graduate's Success Story: After finishing his MBA from a Tier-2 college, he landed a fantastic job offer of ₹25 lakh per year—the kind of dream job millions of students work hard for. But this job, which looked so shiny on paper, had become a burden for him. The long working hours, constant pressure, and lack of personal satisfaction started to break him from the inside. Everything looked perfect from the outside, but a deep sense of unhappiness was growing within him.

One Decision Changed Everything

One day, he took a step that left everyone shocked—he quit his job. He had no backup plan, no safety net. He said goodbye to the corporate world and chose a path that society often looks down upon. He became a taxi driver. At first, people just couldn't understand his decision.

How He Answered Society's Taunts

This story of Satyajit Bose from West Bengal is not just shocking, but also incredibly inspiring. His relatives and acquaintances questioned him—“What was the point of studying so much?”, “What were you thinking when you did this?” But he didn't give anyone an answer. He didn't argue or try to explain himself. His entire focus was now on his work. He was driving a car on the streets, but in his mind, he was already planning something big.

Three Years of Struggle—A Slow Change That Led to a Miracle

People made fun of him, saying, 'You've wasted your education... you left a good job to become a driver.' But he didn't let the criticism break him. While working as a driver, he understood the tricks of the trade and the business opportunities in the transport sector. This wasn't an overnight success. In the beginning, he was just a driver, but he learned something new every day—how to understand customers, optimize routes, and find better ways to earn. Slowly, he bought his first car, then a second, and the fleet just kept growing.

The Journey from Car Driver to Business Owner

Three years later, his life has completely changed. Today, he owns a fleet of 12 cars and runs a well-organized transport business. What started as a simple Ola driver's job has now turned into a strong business on wheels. According to reports, he is earning a profit of around ₹6.5 lakh every month—which is much more than his old salary package.

A New Definition of Success

This story isn't just about money; it's about a change in mindset. He proved that the road to success is not always a straight one. Sometimes, the most unconventional decision turns out to be the best one.

A viral video of factory workers wearing small cameras on their heads has taken social media by storm. The clip shows workers inside large garment factories, carefully stitching clothes and handling fabric while the cameras apparently record their actions. The unusual setup has left many people confused. Users online have been asking why such devices are being used during normal factory work.

This is the most dystopian video I have ever seen.Apparently this is a clip of Indian factory workers wearing head-mounted cameras to record hand movements in order to further develop and train artificial intelligence systems. pic.twitter.com/1GYkWS7Adc

— Steve (@SteveLovesAmmo) April 12, 2026

Also Read | AI 'Jesus' App Goes Viral: Talk To God For Rs 77 A Minute? A widely shared idea is that factories may be recording first-person, or 'egocentric', videos of workers.

This kind of footage could help train artificial intelligence systems. By watching how workers move their hands and handle fabric, machines and robots could learn these tasks through imitation. This method may also reduce the need for expensive motion-capture technology.

However, there is no official confirmation yet about the exact purpose of these recordings.

Also Read | JD Vance's Pakistan Visit Sparks Meme Storm as Netizens Troll 'PTA Approved' Phone

Concerns about jobs and automation

The viral videos have also triggered worries about jobs. Some users asked whether workers are fully aware of how the footage is being used.

There are also concerns about consent and fairness. Critics argue that workers may agree to such practices because they depend on their jobs and may not have much choice.

Some people have even called for government rules to ensure workers are protected and treated fairly.

Strong reactions flood social media

The videos have led to strong and emotional reactions online. A few people even doubted whether the videos were real at all.

There were also wider discussions about global labour practices and outsourcing, showing how the issue goes beyond just one set of videos.

A growing debate about the future

The videos have become more than just a social media trend. They have opened up a bigger conversation about technology, jobs, and ethics.

While artificial intelligence continues to grow, questions remain about how it should be used and who benefits from it.

For now, the purpose behind these head-mounted cameras may still be unclear, but the debate they have started is only getting bigger.

Pulkit Jain UPSC Success Story: Pulkit Jain, from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, comes from a very simple background. His father runs a small kirana shop, and his mother is a homemaker. But even in this ordinary setting, Pulkit always dreamt of doing something big. For him, it wasn't just about getting a job. He wanted to give his family a new identity and earn respect in society. This desire kept pushing him forward. Here's the story of his UPSC success, his preparation strategy, and his amazing trick to stay motivated.

Pulkit Jain's perspective changed during graduation, decided to crack UPSC

Pulkit did his BSc in Biotechnology from Excellence College, Bhopal. In his early college years, his goal wasn't very clear. But as he moved forward in his studies, he started thinking seriously about his career. During his final year of graduation, he realised that the Civil Services was the path to make his dreams come true. This thought slowly turned into a strong resolve.

Also read: How AI Tools Are Changing the Way Students Prepare for JEE Main 2026

After many failures in UPSC, Pulkit Jain finally got a big win

Pulkit Jain's UPSC success came after a long and hard struggle. He didn't just appear once or twice, but four times. In this journey, he reached the Mains stage three times and faced the interview board twice. Each time, he learned from his mistakes and kept improving. Finally, in 2025, he secured an All India Rank of 242 in the UPSC CSE. This victory was the result of his patience, hard work, and consistent efforts.

Pulkit Jain's UPSC preparation formula: Kept it simple, but effective

Pulkit believed that the simpler you keep your UPSC preparation, the better it is. Instead of making his studies complicated, he focused on strengthening his basics. Understanding previous years' question papers and having a strong grip on current affairs were key parts of his strategy. He never tried to collect too many books. Instead, he read limited resources again and again to understand them deeply.

Different strategies for UPSC Prelims and Mains

Pulkit Jain adapted his strategy for each stage of the exam. For the Prelims, he practised a lot and gave nearly 100 mock tests. This helped him understand the paper pattern and improve his time management. For the Mains, he made it a habit to write answers every day. Daily answer writing made his thinking clearer and improved his writing skills, which is extremely important for this stage.

Studied 13 hours for UPSC... but in a smart way

During his preparation, Pulkit Jain studied for long hours, but it wasn't just about the number of hours. It was about studying smartly. While preparing for Prelims, he would study late into the night, sometimes staying up until 4 AM. He studied for about 13 hours every day. But during the Mains, he made his schedule a bit more organised. He followed a fixed routine from 7 AM to 1 AM, taking short breaks in between to avoid burnout.

The biggest challenge: FOMO and comparison

Apart from studies, Pulkit's biggest challenge was a mental one. During his preparation, he often had to deal with issues like FOMO and comparing himself to others. When you see people around you moving ahead, it's natural to feel a bit lost. But he kept telling himself to stay focused on his own goal. This mental strength helped him stay in the race for the long haul.

Taking breaks was also part of the UPSC preparation strategy

Pulkit adopted a special practice that many aspirants tend to ignore. He gave himself a short break after every stage of the exam. Sometimes, he would go on a short trip to refresh his mind. These breaks helped him stay mentally balanced, and he returned to his studies with new energy every time.

From Science to Humanities for UPSC: The change wasn't easy

Switching from a science background in Biotechnology to Humanities wasn't easy for him. It took him time to understand the new subjects, but he slowly adapted to the change. Also, because of the long preparation period, his social life took a hit, and he grew distant from his friends. However, he saw it as a necessary sacrifice for his goal and kept moving forward.

A big decision: Skipped the IFoS interview

That same year, Pulkit Jain had also qualified for the IFoS (Indian Forest Service) interview, which is a huge achievement in itself. But he made the tough decision to skip it so he could focus completely on the UPSC Civil Services exam. It wasn't an easy choice, but he prioritised his main goal, and that decision ultimately paid off with his success.

Also read: Courses After 12th: Job-Oriented Options That Offer Quick Jobs and High Salaries
