Indefinite strike by nurses in Kerala has been called off
Demand to increase minimum wage to Rs 20,000 has been accepted.
The indefinite strike that had been called by the nurses in private hospitals demanding an increase in minimum wages has been withdrawn. The strike was called off after the government issued an order increasing the minimum wage from Rs 8,975 to Rs 20,000 w.e.f. October 1, 2017.
