The CIA has released the first image of Al Qaeda's next successor and son of Osama Bin Laden. The images are from an hour-long video, taken during the wedding of Hamza Bin Ladin. Till now, the public has seen only the childhood pictures of Hamza, who had appeared on an Al Qaeda video, threatening more attacks against America.

The Hamza Bin Ladin wedding video is among, 10,000 video files, recovered by the American SpecOps team that raided Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The video offers the first public look at Hamza bin Laden as an adult. Hamza as a child has been used by Al Qaeda in its threat videos posted on 9/11 anniversaries. He has been dubbed by many as the Price of Jihad.

In the video, young adult Hamza spots a trimmed moustache and is seen is sitting on a carpet with other men. A man chanting Quranic verses can be heard in the background, while verbally accepts his marriage to his bride “on the book of God and the example of the prophet. Peace be upon him.”

“Takbeer!” the others shout, marking his marriage with a kind of religious hooray. According to Long War Journal, the older men sitting around  Hamza in the video are all senior Al Qaeda operatives and are quite high in the ranks of the organisation.

It is believed that Hamza married the daughter of Abu Mohammed al-Masri, a senior al Qaeda military leader. The book by  Cathy Scott-Clark and Adrian Levy - The Exile: The Stunning Inside Story of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda in Flight and a profile authored by former FBI agent Ali Soufan both have made that claim.

While the video, has to be at least a decade old, but they are the most recent images that are now available with the public.
