Reacting to the appointment of BJP's KG Bopaiah as the Pro-tem Speaker, JD(S) Supremo HD Deve Gowda has said that according to rules, senior-most elected MLA should be made the Pro-tem Speaker who will conduct the floor test. This is the rule and it should be respected, he said.
