Lingayats disappointed by alliance government in Karnataka?
Now that Vokkaligas are reigning supreme in the Karnataka government, are the Lingayats upset over being sidelined?
Apart from the status of separate religion and minority status, Lingayats have not been successful in getting anything more from the Congress and JD(S) alliance government. Now as the talks for distributing portfolios on, out of 16 MLAs only four Lingayat MLAs are being given the ministry in the JD(S) and Congress alliance. Have these developments upset the Lingayats which is a dominant community in Karnataka?
