Leopard barges into house in Ramanagar, sent to Bannerghatta Park after tranquilisation

A leopard which came into the city in search of food, barged inside a house at Kanakapur in Ramanagar, in the outskirts of Bengaluru. Currently, the leopard has been caught, tranquilised and sent to Bannerghatta National Park in Bengaluru. The house which the leopard barged into belonged to Jagadish, who, with the help of neighbours, had kept it locked inside the sericulture room. The leopard had attacked Thammaiah, who was saved by Jagadish and later admitted to the taluk hospital in Kanakapura. Forest officers and police have inspected the spot.
