Karnataka elections 2018: 'If Ambareesh wishes to join JD(S), we'll welcome him with open arms': HD Kumaraswamy

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy has spoken highly of Congress' Ambareesh. When asked about Ambareesh's comments on Deve Gowda, Kumaraswamy said, "Ambareesh has always held Deve Gowda in high regards. He wants to alleviate the problems of farmers and he knows that JD(S) works for their betterment. So it does not come as a surprise that Ambareesh has spoken so highly of Deve Gowda." Talking about JD(S) deserter Zameer Ahmed, Kumaraswamy said, "He is an uncivilised man. I won't taint my name by talking about him." Kumaraswamy also said that if Ambareesh decides to join JD(S) he will be welcomed with open arms.
