Karnataka Elections 2018: Here is Yeddyurappa's reaction to CM Siddaramaiah on his jibe at PM Modi's 2+1 formula

Here is Yeddyurappa's reaction to Siddaramaiah's jibe at PM Modi, who had teased him of inventing a 2+1 formula ahead of elections

Former CM Yeddyurappa reacting to Siddaramaiah's comment said that he is scared of losing from one constituency and is contesting from two places. "The fact is that he lied to the people till the last moment that he will contest only from Chamundeshwari. In the last minute, he came in hiding and filed nominations from Badami. He did not have to lie all along," said Yeddyurappa. Siddaramaiah knows very well that he will lose in Chamundeshwari and as Sriramulu is contesting against him Badami, he is sure to win there too, Yeddyurappa further said. Earlier, taking a dig at Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, during the election campaign in Karnataka, PM Modi said that Siddaramaiah is the master of 2+1 formula in Karnataka. He was referring to Siddaramaiah contesting from two constituencies- Chamundeshwari and Badami and making his son contest in Varuna constituency. To this Siddaramaiah reminded PM Modi that even he too had contested from two constituencies- Vadodara and Varanasi in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and said the man with a 56 inch-chest will have a good explanation for it.
