Infosys Foundation contributes Rs 200 crore to Bangalore Metro

CM HD Kumaraswamy said that Infosys Foundation had come forward to give Rs 200 Crore to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for the construction of Konappana Agrahara Metro Station and metro railway track and both the parties will sign a MoU on July 19 in this regard.

Infosys Foundation will contribute Rs 200 Crore to Bangalore Metro rail work. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that the foundation had come forward to give Rs 200 Crore to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) for the construction of Konappana Agrahara Metro Station and metro railway track and both the parties will sign a MoU on July 19in this regard. Dr Sudha Murthy, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation called on the Chief Minister and discussed the subject at his home Office Krishna. CM appreciated the initiatives of the Infosys Foundation for the betterment of the society and also described Dr Sudha Murthy as an inspiration to other corporate companies. Dr Sudha Murthy said that Infosys Foundation would maintain the Station for the next 30 years and contributing hard earned money to the people gives immense pleasure in life. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Ramana Reddy was also present.
