Gym owner found murdered in Karkala

Miscreants have brutally murdered a woman living in Ayyappa Nagar in Karkala, Udupi district on July 8 (Saturday). The deceased is Florine D’Souza (54), who lived with her two children. She had wounds on her neck.

Florine was running a gym training centre and also was involved in money lending. A two-wheeler and jewellery are missing from her house. It is said that she had a difference of opinion with her business partner. Senior police officers visited the spot. Fingerprint experts and a dog squad were pressed into service at the crime spot.
