'Children consuming porn on net, parents be watchful'

He was speaking at an interaction session with faculty and students of Ramaiah Technological University on the occasion of launching of Ramaiah Indic Specialty Ayurveda Restoration Hospital constructed by Gokula Education Trust. Â He said about 70 per cent of the web is used for consuming porn by children below the age of 15. This is shocking and cause for worry, hence parents must be watchful of their children, he advised.

Every year about half a million engineering graduates are coming out but there are no appropriate jobs for them. In cases where jobs are available efficiency is lacking. Hence the 4 years engineering course must be increased to 5 years he stated. It is difficult to provide uniform education to all. Around 66 percent of rural population is without land.
They are incapable of providing education to their children in private education institutions. Hence parents must try their level best to provide quality education to their children. In the current education system marks obtained is given more significance than knowledge gained. More than the marks the worldly experience is more conducive to learning, he said.

Gokula Education Trust (Medical) CEO Dr D V Guruprasad said in private hospitals along with Allopathy, homoeopathy treatment should also be given. Â For the first time homoeopathy is introduced and affordable treatment made available to poor, he said.
