Body of scientist washed away in Mysuru waterfalls found; funeral held in Nelamangala

The body of the CFTRI Scientist Somashekhar, who was washed away in the Chunchanakatte Falls was found. The residents rescued wife and children but 40-year-old Somashekhar was washed away in the strong current of water flow. His funeral will be held at Chikkamaranahalli in Nelamangala. Somashekhar had completed his higher studies at TATA Institute in Bengaluru. He had pursued PhD in the US. Immediately, he had got a job at a private company in Hyderabad, where he fell in love and got married. He had three daughters and a son. He had joined CFTRI in Mysuru just two years ago.
